our mission
We are a worshipping community of the Lord Jesus Christ, called by God the Father to be light of the world and salt of the earth, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to make disciples of all nations in our worship, witness and service through outreach, fellowship, equipping, connecting, resourcing and compassion.
what we believe
God
We believe that in the Bible, God has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Although He is one God in three distinct persons, the Trinity is eternally of one divine essence, nature, and being. God’s nature is unchanging, but the methods by which He discloses Himself and the ways He relates to creation may vary.

Scripture
The Bible is divinely inspired as God’s written revelation—true, trustworthy, and the authoritative standard for faith and life—centering on Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of God’s plan of salvation and the church’s mandate to proclaim the gospel among the nations.
Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalms 19:7-10; 119:11; Isaiah 34:16; 40:8; Jeremiah 15:16; Matthew 5:17-18; Luke 21:33; 24:44-46; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Acts 17:11; Romans 15:4; 16:25-26; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 1:19-21.
Salvation
Salvation is God’s gracious work of restoring humanity through Jesus Christ—who lived sinlessly, died, and rose again—which is received by faith, assured by Scripture and the Holy Spirit, experienced through God’s grace and mercy alone, beginning with justification, continuing in sanctification, and culminating in glorification.
Genesis 3:15; Matthew 1:21; 27:22-28:6; Luke 2:28-32; John 1:11-14; 3:3-21; 5:24; 10:9,28-29; 15:1-16; Acts 2:21; 4:12; 15:11; 16:30-31; Romans 1:16-18; 2:4; 3:23-25; 5:8-10; 6:1-23; 8:1-18; 10:9-10,13; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; Galatians 2:20; 3:13; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-22; 4:11-16; Colossians 1:9-22; 3:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; Titus 2:11-14; Hebrews 5:8-9; 9:24-28; 11:1-12:8; James 2:14-26; 1 John 1:6-2:11.
Humanity
Humans, created in the “image of God” with some godlike characteristics but not a godlike nature, fell into sin, which corrupted this image; yet through Jesus Christ, they can be saved from the bondage of sin and restored to a loving relationship and fellowship with God that affirms the inherent worth and dignity of every person.
Genesis 1:26-30; 2: 7; 3; 9:6; Acts 17:26-31; Romans 1:19-32; 3:10-18,23; 5:6,12,19; 6:6; 7:14-25; 8:14-18; 1 Corinthians 1:21-31; Ephesians 2:1-22; Colossians 1:21-22; 3:9-11.
Sin
Sin is the universal and individual human failure to meet God’s standard of holiness, which moves humanity away from the center of God’s will— leaving all people equally in need of God’s grace. Salvation in Jesus Christ is God’s way of reconciling humanity to Himself by freeing us from sin, spiritual death, the power of Satan, hell, and our own sinful nature.
Genesis 3; Romans 1:19-32; 3:10-18,23; 5:6,12,19; 7:14-25; 8:14-18; Ephesians 2:1-22; Colossians 1:21-22; 3:9-11.
Ethics, Morality, and Christian Freedom
Christian ethics and freedom mean living a transformed and Spirit-led life in which believers love God and others, reject sin, live in righteousness and holiness, and obey Jesus’ command to make and teach disciples of all people, as a natural expression of daily covenant renewal, faithfulness, and devotion.
Romans 6:1-23; 1 Corinthians 1:18,30; 6:19-20; 15:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; Galatians 3; 5; Philippians 2:12-13; Colossians 1:9-22; Hebrews 2:1-3; James 2:14-26; 1 John 1:6-2:11.
The Church
The Church is the unified spiritual Body of believers in Jesus Christ, equal in their direct relationship with God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to worship together, love, encourage, and care for one another, and to carry out God’s work by exercising spiritual gifts and God-given talents through various forms of ministry, loving service in the community and society, discipleship, fellowship, and the proclamation of the gospel.

The Central Commission and Global Missions
All aspects of spiritual growth and congregational life revolve around the mission of God (Missio Dei) to redeem and reconcile humanity to Himself, as embodied in the missions of God’s people—both individually and collectively—in obedient response to Christ’s Central Commission to “go and make disciples of all nations” by proclaiming repentance for the forgiveness of sins under the power of the Holy Spirit.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances that symbolize God’s grace, reminding believers of Christ’s saving work—salvation being God’s gift is received by faith, not earned by human effort—and are practiced in joyful obedience to His commands until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ in glory.

The Family
The family, instituted by God and rooted in love and faithfulness, reflects the equal worth of all its members, made in God’s image, while marriage—between one man and one woman—is a sacred, lifelong covenant expressed through biblical sexual intimacy, providing the means for reproduction through mutual trust and loving, meaningful companionship.
